Configure the Security incident quality assessment skill

  • Add natural language rule sets to the Security incident quality assessment skill. Security analysts use these rules to generate a quality assessment report for security incidents.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_si.admin

    About this task

    Important:
    This Now Assist skill is turned on by default. The skill will be automatically available to appropriate role users for the application. For more information, see Now Assist skills, agents, and agentic workflows on by default.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Now Assist Admin > Skills.
    2. In Technology, select Security Operations.
      The Now Assist skills for Security Operations page displays the list of available skills.
    3. In the Security Incident Quality Assessment tile, select More actions icon.
    4. Select Edit.
    5. Select Assessment Rules > Add New Rule.
    6. Enter a name for the rule you want to add, and select Save.
    7. In the Enter Rule Criteria field, add the list of rules.
    8. Select Save and continue.
      The skill uses this rule set to generate a quality assessment for the security incident.
