   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Connector name | A unique name. You might prefer to add 'CXF' in the title to help you easily distinguish the API connectors that you create from the API connectors from other services (vendors). |
   | Vendor | Connector's vendor name from the list. The templates in the connector builder provide you with options that are based on popular API integrations from security tool vendors. You can choose a vendor to base your connector on. Alternatively, select the ![Plus sign]() to add a vendor name and URL. Select the refresh icon () to see your vendor on the list. |
   | Connector category | Select one for your connector type. |
   | Description | A unique description for this API connector to help you easy identify its data imports from your other connectors. |
