# Ingest vulnerabilities manually {#ariaid-title1}

Manually ingest vulnerabilities by uploading a template with vulnerabilities
data.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_vul.vulnerability_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllVulnerability ResponseManual Vulnerable Item IngestionUpload File UI.
2. Click the Excel or CSV links and download the template in the respective format.
3. In the template, enter the vulnerability data in the records.  
   For instructions on how to populate the data in the template, see [Template for manual ingestion of vulnerabilities](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/tGp4ECbuadALv7ETGJXu4g "The template provides columns that must be filled with vulnerability and configuration item (CI) data. After the template is populated and uploaded, the data is processed.").
4. Click Import File and upload the updated template.
5. Click Submit.  
   The Vulnerability Integration Push Queues page is displayed. You can view the list of integration instances, status of the integration runs, and log notes after the integration run is completed.

## What to do next

After you upload the file, navigate to AllVulnerability ResponseManual Vulnerable Item IngestionIntegrations. Verify that the integration run is successful.
