# Configure sprints for penetration testing

# Configure sprints for penetration testing {#ariaid-title1}

Configure the sprint duration and capacity for the ethical hacking team so they can manage the sprint capacity for penetration test assessments.

## Before you begin

Role required: Ethical Hacking

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllApplication Vulnerability ResponseAdministrationPenetration Testing Configuration.
2. Select the Configure option for Configure sprints.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Sprint duration (days) | Number of days in a sprint. |
   | Start date | Start date for the sprint duration. |
   | Number of sprints | Number of sprints that can be generated, based on the start and end dates for the sprint range. |
   | End date | End date for the sprint duration. |
   | Sprint capacity ||
   | Sprint capacity (hrs) | Capacity of a sprint in hours. |

4. Select Generate Sprints.  
   To view the sprints created, select View Sprints.  
   Note:  
   After the sprints are generated and in progress, if you select Generate Sprints for the same duration, the current sprint is completed as usual. The remaining sprints are recalculated based on the updated sprint configuration.
