Use email notifications to view your remediation progress and remind you when tasks
are nearing, or are past SLA.

## Before you begin

Role required:

* sn_vul.remediation_owner for host vulnerable items (VITs)
* sn_vul.app_security_champion for application vulnerable items (AVITs)
* sn_vul_container.remediation_owner for container vulnerable items (CVITs)
* sn_vulc.remediation_owner for configuration test results (CTRs)

## About this task

As a remediation owner, come into your work area and see your email notification as a summary of your work. See what you accomplished, what's approaching, and what's past due. Use the notification to help you organize and
prioritize your critical remediation actions. Click a link in the email to bring you into directly into to your workspace. Notifications can help IT specialists with at-glance status of their work. As a vulnerability manager,
help your IT specialists to get into the Platform directly from their email service for remediation tasks.

The email by default shows the tasks you've closed, the total active tasks assigned to you and your groups, newly assigned, VITs closed, along with other information.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to your email, locate a notification, and click to open it.  
   The notification is displayed with information about your work status.
2. Click Go to workspace to navigate to your work area.
