# Add CVEs to assess exposure

Add Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) to the exposure configuration list of CVEs in Exposure Assessment to assess the impact of a new vulnerability or zero-day vulnerability.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_vul_analyst.vul_event_manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesVulnerability Assessment WorkspaceExposure AssessmentAssess by CVE.
2. Select Add.
3. In the Add CVE dialog box, select the CVEs you want to add to the list and select the Add option.  
   CVEs that are already in the list are not added again. The rest are added to the list of CVEs.  
   Note:  
   Select the filter icon to navigate to the Advanced view and specify the CVEs you want to view.
4. To assess the impact of the CVEs that are already in the list:
   1. Select the check box of the CVEs that you want to reassess.
   2. Select the Reassess button.  
      The updated details appear in respective columns.
