# Add users to the Vulnerability Response group

# Add users to the Vulnerability Response group {#ariaid-title1}

When the Close/Defer feature is used to defer or close a vulnerable item without
requiring a scan, the Vulnerability Response group is
notified to approve or reject the request. You can assign the appropriate users.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllUser AdministrationGroups.
2. Open the Vulnerability Response group.
3. Click the Group Members related list and click Edit.
4. Select one or more name in the Collection list.
5. Click Add.
6. Click Save.
