Assign a remediation task or record to yourself in the IT Remediation Workspace

  • Assign a remediation task (VUL, AVUL, CVUL, or CRG) or record (VIT, AVIT, CVIT, or TR) to yourself from the List page in the IT Remediation Workspace workspace.

    Before you begin

    Role required:
    • sn_vul.remediation_owner for host vulnerable items (VITs)
    • sn_vul.app_security_champion for application vulnerable items (AVITs)
    • sn_vul_container.remediation_owner for container vulnerable items (CVITs)
    • sn_vulc.remediation_owner for configuration test results (CTRs)

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > IT Remediation Workspace > List > Remediation tasks > Assigned to my group.
    2. Open a remediation task (VUL, AVUL, CVUL or CRG) from the Remediation tasks list.
    3. In the UI action buttons on the right, click Assign to me.

      The Assign to me button is only available if the record is not already assigned to you.

      The remediation task displays on the Assigned to me list under Remediation Tasks.

    4. You can also assign a record (VIT, AVIT, CVIT, or TR) to yourself following the same steps from an open record.
