Accessing Contract Information
- Navigate to Workspaces > Vendor Management Workspace.
- Open the Risk tab and select the home page icon.
- In the Third-party risk overview section, click any number in a box to view associated third parties or engagements.
- Select a third party or engagement name to open detailed tabs, then select the Documents tab.
- Click on a document name to view detailed contract information.
Viewing and Managing Contracts
The Documents tab provides contract details through columns such as:
- Name: Purpose of the contract.
- Description: Brief description of the contract.
- Owner: Document owner for audit purposes.
- Third party: Associated third party; required if applicable and automatically enables sharing permissions in TPRM.
- Default version: Specifies the version used for downloads, defaulting to the latest version.
Document actions include creating new contracts, saving changes, removing contracts, linking existing documents, and adding attachments.
Managing Contract Processes
On the Details tab, users can view and update contract-specific information such as:
- Contract Number: Unique identifier for searching and referencing the contract.
- Start and End Dates: Define the contract duration.
- State: Current status (Draft, Active, Expired, Cancelled).
- Substate: More granular status details, including review and approval stages.
- Expiration: Indicates if a contract is expired or nearing expiration (within 30 days).
Files can also be attached on this tab to support contract documentation and audit requirements.
You can view the contracts associated with each engagement or third party and alongside detailed information such as the expiration, start date, end date, and state. You can also manage and update contract processes.
Accessing contract information

In the Third-party risk overview section, select any number in a box to open the list of third parties or engagements with that value.

Select a third party or engagement name to open all tabs for the item and then select the Documents tab.
- Select a Name to view detailed information.
Viewing the list of contracts

| Name | Brief description of the purpose of the contract. |
| Description | A brief description about the contract. |
| Owner | The individual who owns a document for audit purposes. |
| Third party | Third party with which the document is associated. When a third party is provided, sharing permissions are enabled automatically in TPRM. This field is required only if the document is associated with a third party. For example, internal documents may not need to be associated with a specific third party.Note: When a document is created by a third-party contact in the third-party portal, this field is auto filled and sharing
permissions are enabled. |
| Default version | The document version that is used for document download. By default, the latest version is the default version. This field is not available in the third-party portal. |
Actions on the documents page

Table 3. Contract specific information on the Details tab Column Description Contract Number Assigned ID for the contract. The unique ID is used in all references to the item. You can use the ID to search or filter for the item that you want to work on. Start date, End date Dates for the beginning and end of interactions with the engagement. State Current state of the contract: Draft, Active, Expired, or Cancelled. Substate Current substate of the contract: Extension Active, Renewal Active, Awaiting Review, Under Review, Approved, Renewal Approved, Rejected, Renewal Rejected, Extension Approved, Extension Rejected. Expiration Current state of expiration: (empty), Expired, Within 30 days.
