# Respond to the feedback

# Respond to the feedback {#ariaid-title1}

Provide comments or explanations regarding the submitted feedback using the Advanced Risk application. You can either remediate or reject the feedback, provided that there's proper justification.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_rvw_feedback.respondent

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllRiskRisk WorkspaceMy tasks.
2. Open the Feedback that you want to respond.
3. To respond to the feedback from the record side panel, select the list ![side panel list icon.]() icon on the record and do the following:
   1. Provide comments or explanations regarding the feedback submitted in the Response field.  
      Response field is required to reject a feedback item.
   2. Select Remediate or Reject.

4. To respond to the feedback on the record, navigate to the Response section and do the following:
   1. Select the response in the Response field.
   2. Provide comments or explanations regarding the feedback submitted in the Respondent comments.  
      The Respondent comments field becomes required when you select the response as Rejected.
   3. Select Save.

5. To respond to the feedback items, select the Items related list and do the following:  
   The Items related list appears only when the reviewer adds feedback items while providing the feedback.
   1. Select the feedback items.
   2. Select the response in the State field.
   3. Provide comments or explanations regarding the feedback submitted in the Respondent comments.  
      The Respondent comments field becomes required when you select the response as Rejected.
   4. Select Save.

6. Select Send for review.  
   You must close all the open items to send the feedback to the reviewer.
