Add related business assets to a business process to gain visibility into the IT
assets and their performance.

## Before you begin

Role required: Enterprise architect or service owner or itil

## About this task

A business process is supported by various assets such as business applications, network servers, application servers and their services and so on. It is important that a process owner is able to establish that relationship and then have visibility into these IT assets and their performance. For example, assume that employee leave management is a business process. This business process depends on an application to automate it. The application, in turn, depends on servers to run it. Thus, if you relate the assets to a process, you can track the overall performance of your processes.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllRisk WorkspaceListsBusiness Processes.
2. Open the business process to which you want to add assets and click the Related assets related list.
3. Click Add.
The Related Assets pop up appears.
4. Select the related assets you want to add to the business process.
5. Click Add.
6. Click Save.
