Tracking and Viewing Migration Progress
After initiating migration via the Assessment template migration form, customers can monitor progress and verify completion or errors by navigating to:
- All > Smart Assessment Engine > Administration > Template Migrations
Each migration is assigned a unique identifier starting with ATMIG. Selecting a migration record displays the original values used, along with related lists that show the migration status and migrated content details.
Understanding Migration Results
The migration process breaks down into sections, questions, and response options, each tracked in distinct related lists with specific fields:
Section Migrations
- Number: Unique ID starting with ATSMIG, searchable for the section migration record.
- Source metric category: The original metric category converted into a section.
- Target section: The section created in the assessment template.
- Migration status: Indicates if migration is Completed or Errored.
- Error details: Describes issues if migration failed.
Expanding a section record reveals the list of migrated questions.
Question Migrations
- Number: Unique ID starting with ATQMIG for each question migration record.
- Source metric: The legacy metric converted from the question.
- Target question: The question created in the new template.
- Migration status: Can be Completed, Not supported (if the metric is unsupported), or Errored.
- Error details: Explanation of migration errors if any.
Users can expand the question record to view migrated response options.
Response Option Migrations
- Number: Unique ID starting with ATROMIG for each response option record.
- Source metric definition: Original response option data migrated.

After you have filled out the Assessment template migration form and started the migration process, you can view the progress and confirm if it completed successfully or if there were any errors. Viewing the migration results
To view your migration results, navigate to . In the Assessment template migrations list, select the migration number. Each migration record for a metric type is assigned a unique number that starts with the text ATMIG. The form displays the values that were used to generate the template. The related lists display the status and content of the migrated data. The Section migrations table provides a description of the fields in the related lists.
