# Perform an assessment on the action task {#ariaid-title1}

Perform an assessment on the action task by reviewing its assessment details. As the action task owner, you can view the details of the action task and assessment history in the action task record and then complete the
assessment.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_oper_res.manager, action task owner

## About this task

The details of the action task and assessment history are displayed in the record as shown in the example.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesOperational Resilience WorkspaceMy items and open the action task listed in Vulnerability action tasks.
2. To complete the assessment for the action task, select Take assessment.  
3. Answer the questions and select Submit.  
   The state of the action task is updated to the Review state.
4. Navigate to the Assessment history, select the assessment, and review the responses to the questions.  
5. To add a new assessment instance question, select New.
6. To view user responses to the questions, select View user's response.
7. Select Save.  
   The action task is saved. The state of the action task is updated to the Review state.
