Set up an assignment configuration record to enable auto-assignments for regulatory alerts of the type regulatory event.

## Before you begin

The GRC: Assignment and Approval Configurations (sn_grc_appr) application for approval and assignment configurations is installed with the GRC: Compliance Case Management application.

Role required: sn_grc_appr.admin, sn_compliance_ws.corporate_compliance_analyst, sn_compliance_ws.corporate_compliance_manager

## About this task

You can now route regulatory alerts to domain experts who can promptly address compliance issues within their ares of specialization. This ensures proactive management of regulatory risks and obligations.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllAssignment and Approval ConfigurationsAssignment Configurations.
2. Select New.  
   The Assignment configuration New Record is displayed.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.  
   For information on the fields in the form, see [Assignment Configuration New Record](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Z73NEs7XOplPLh7mm3Iryw "Use the Assignment Configuration new record form to create auto-assignments for regulatory events of the type regulatory alert.").  
   Note:  
   You cannot have more than one approval configuration applying to the table with the same priority.
4. Select Submit.
