ServiceNow’s Performance Analytics (PA) dashboards provide comprehensive visualization and analysis of risk events and risk hierarchy data. These dashboards enable users to monitor trends such as losses, events, and risk ratings over configurable time periods. By default, users with thesnrisk.managerrole can access six months of historical data, with extended periods available through the Performance Analytics Premium plugin or by running a specific historical data collection job.

Key Features
- Risk Events Dashboards: Multiple dashboards present different views of risk events:
- Risk Event Overview: Displays trends such as gross loss, net loss, active events, near misses, event types and states, and top loss entities. Available in the Next Experience UI Framework starting version 18.1.0.
- Risk Event Overview by Entity: Allows entity owners (sn.riskuser role) to view aggregated monthly data on gross/net loss, event counts, and averages of financial impacts per event. Administrators (sn.riskadmin) can customize this dashboard.
- Risk Event Overview by Risk Class: Enables users with the snrisk.manager role to analyze level 1 risk event trends by risk class, including aggregated losses and event counts, with top net loss events highlighted.
- Exposure by Risk Statements: Provides risk distribution by tolerance status, calculated scores, and annual loss expectancy, including a heatmap of risk ratings. Primarily for users with the snrisk.manager role. (Note: deprecated starting version 18.1.0 but still available for legacy use.)
- Exposure by Entity: Displays entity health status (unacceptable, needs attention, acceptable) and trends in annual loss expectancy with heatmaps for risk ratings by tolerance status. Useful for entity owners. (Also deprecated starting 18.1.0, but available for legacy users.)
- Analytics Hub: Allows users to view risk data for any time period, supporting flexible analysis beyond default time frames.
- Historical Data Collection Job: Administrators can run a one-time job to collect up to one year of historical risk and entity data for analysis, but it should only be run once to avoid data inconsistencies.
