    Session Preparation

    To prepare for the session, customers should activate and install necessary plugins including Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and AI Search, and provision a temporary instance.

    What You Get

    The Accelerator includes two customer coaching sessions:

    • Customer Coaching Session #1 (up to 90 minutes): Covers an overview of Generative AI, activation of Now Assist features, usage of the Generative AI Controller, configuration of Sensitive Data Handler, and demonstrations of various Now Assist experiences. Customers receive 30 days of access to the temporary instance.
    • Customer Coaching Session #2 (Optional, up to 60 minutes): Provides an opportunity for Q&A related to Generative AI upon customer request.

    Requested Customer Resources

    Key roles and responsibilities include:

    • Platform Owner (Required): Oversees the ServiceNow platform and aligns the team with business strategy.
    • System Administrator(s) (Required): Maintains platform stability and manages support for ServiceNow applications.
    • Developer(s) (Recommended): Writes code for the platform.
    • Virtual Agent Lead (Recommended): Acts as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow Virtual Agent.
    • Trusted Service Partners (Recommended): Participate in coaching sessions to understand best practices.

    Exceptions

    This Accelerator may not be available to customers in specific environments such as FedRAMP, NSC DOD IL5, or Australia IRAP-Protected data centers, or to self-hosted customers and managed service providers. It is also not available to US Public Sector customers. ServiceNow does not implement Generative AI recommendations on customers' instances.

    Customer Resource Responsibilities

    Platform Owner (Required)

    Responsible for the overall accountability of the ServiceNow platform. Provides leadership and oversight to the System Administrators, ensures team alignment to business strategy and the ServiceNow roadmap, and is actively involved in the overarching governance of the platform.

    System Administrator(s) (Required) Maintains the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform by performing application maintenance, managing support for cases related to ServiceNow applications, and contributing to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features.
    Developer(s) (Recommended)

    Writes code for the ServiceNow platform.

    Virtual Agent Lead (Recommended) Subject matter expert responsible for ServiceNow Virtual Agent.
    Trusted Service Partners (Recommended) Attends ServiceNow Impact Accelerator coaching session(s) to understand leading practices and potentially support customer going forward.
