Use the Access to Expertise Initiative to connect to ServiceNow subject matter experts via personalized virtual coaching sessions.
Before you begin
Role required: impact admin or impact platform owner
Procedure
- Navigate to Impact > Initiatives & Accelerators > General Initiatives > Access to Expertise.

On the form, Set up initiative, fill in the fields.
Field Description Initiative title Topic title Start date Requested start date When do you need this by? Preferred resolution date Related business objective Impact objective selected from the drop-down Stakeholder group Available for selection if stakeholder groups are enabled and configured Instance type Select if multiple instance types are available, such as production or sub-production Which instance is this related to? If multiple instances are available, the drop-down is enabled for selection Phase of implementation that this request pertains to Phase available in the drop-down - Select a Primary category on the form, What do you need help with?.

Fill out the fields on the Workflow and product details form.
Field Description Workflow The name of the instance specific workflow from the drop-down Product The name of the specific instance product from the drop-down Capability The name of the specific Impact capability from the drop-down Description A very detailed description of the issue or question Attach a file Image or document to help clarify the request or explain the issue - Enter information of any progress you have made on the request in the What actions have you taken so far? form.
- Select the technical lead and other important contacts to include for the request on the next form, Who else should be involved?.

Submit the form.
Members of the Impact squad will reach out to you to request additional information, next steps, or with a resolution to your inquiry.
- Monitor the status and the related tasks in Impact > Initiatives & Accelerators > Your initiatives.
