Add an MCP server from the AI Control Tower.

Role required: sn_ai_governance.ai_steward
Nota: The AI steward (sn_ai_governance.ai_steward) role gets inherited with the following roles:
- (AI admin) sn_aia.admin
- (AIG admin) aig_admin
- (MCP Client admin) sn_mcp_client.admin

Navigate to .

Select Add.

Enter the Name (Server name).

Enter the MCP server URL.
Nota: Enter the Name and MCP server URL manually or click Choose from MCP Catalog to enter the details.

Select Next.

Select the Client registration type.
Nota: Selecting Dynamic client Registration, AI Control Tower automatically receives the Client ID and Client Secret. Selecting Manual registration, the client must be created externally on the MCP provider side while
the client ID and secret must be entered manually.

Review all the other details such as Grant type, and Token authentication method.
Nota: There are three sections for the URL:
- Authorization URL- where the user authenticates and grants access token\
- Token URL- where the system exchanges and authorization code for an access token
- Token revocation URL- Used to invalidate issued tokens if supported.

Select Submit.
Resultado
The newly added MCP server appears in the AI asset inventory MCP servers list with its lifecycle status marked as ''In AI steward review''.
