Key Features
- Bot Management: Deploy bots to bot runner devices, retrieve details of specific bots, and look up all available bots.
- Device Management: Get details of individual devices, pools, and lists of devices.
- Folder Management: Retrieve information on specific folders or all folders.
- Queue Management: Access queues from the Enterprise Control Room and details of work items within queues.
- User Management: Retrieve details of specific users or all users, with execution restricted to users having bot runner or admin roles.

Practical Requirements and Setup
- The spoke requires an Integration Hub subscription to function.
- Several dependent plugins must be installed for proper operation, including Complex Object, Integration Hub Runtime, REST Action Step, Dynamic Inputs, and Data Stream Action Template. Some of these require additional licensing outside the spoke use.
- Connection and credential aliases are used to manage environment configurations efficiently, reducing the need for repeated updates when connection details change.
- Only users with appropriate roles (bot runner or admin) can execute spoke actions, ensuring security and controlled access.
Key Outcomes
By integrating Automation Anywhere with ServiceNow through this spoke, customers can:
- Automate and manage robotic process automation (RPA) tasks directly within ServiceNow workflows.
- Streamline bot deployment, monitoring, and management from a centralized interface.
- Enhance operational agility by connecting ServiceNow events to Automation Anywhere bots without manual intervention.
- Maintain secure and efficient credential management across multiple environments via aliases.

Spoke module
The Automation Anywhere spoke adds the Automation Anywhere application to your instance and includes the Authentication module. In this module, you should provide details in the default credential record to authentication the ServiceNow requests. See Create a Credential record for the Automation Anywhere spoke for more information.
Connection and credential alias requirements
Integration Hub uses aliases to manage connection and credential information, and OAuth credentials. Using an alias eliminates the need to configure multiple credentials and connection information profiles when using multiple environments. If the connection or credential information changes, you don't need to update any actions that use the connection.
For information about setting up the spoke, see Set up the Automation Anywhere spoke.
