This process enables you to modernize legacy ERP applications by scanning their code to find suitable candidates for migration, allowing you to build new applications on the ServiceNow AI Platform using existing ERP data.

ERP Semantic Mining improves system performance, security, and reduces maintenance by enabling innovation without requiring deep knowledge of the legacy ERP system. It complements the Zero Copy Connector for ERP, together accelerating the modernization and orchestration of legacy code and processes that are underserved by traditional ERP systems like SAP.
Important: Starting with the Zurich release, ERP Semantic Mining is being prepared for future deprecation. It will no longer be activated on new instances but will continue to be supported on existing ones.

Administrators and developers are then relieved of time-consuming efforts to create database views or endpoints in the system of record and can work on other projects, such as migration.
