Role required: now_assist_explorer_user and ownership or editing rights to the exploration and the dashboard.
When you get a response with a data visualization that you want to put on a dashboard, select the Add to dashboard button on the visualization.
Select a new or existing dashboard, or the current dashboard if applicable.
Your options depend on whether you launched AI Data Explorer in its own tab, such as from Unified Navigation, or in a floating panel over another page.
If you are in AI Data Explorer in its own browser tab, you have the choice of adding the visualization to a new dashboard or to an existing one. (These are also your choices if you have AI Data Explorer open in a floating panel above a page that is not a dashboard.)
If you have a dashboard open in your main tab and AI Data Explorer in a floating panel on top of it, you can also add a visualization directly to the current dashboard tab without having to go through the Add to existing
dashboard menu.
If you select Add to existing dashboard, choose the dashboard and a tab, if applicable.
The list of available dashboards is filtered on those dashboards that you can edit.

The dashboard opens in full screen while the exploration moves to a modal in the foreground, if this isn’t already the case. You can now use the Add to current dashboard option to copy more data
visualizations from your exploration to the dashboard.
To save your visualization in the dashboard, select Save in the dashboard controls. You can either edit the dashboard further or continue working where you were in the exploration. You can maximize the
modal with the exploration or open it in a new tab. If you hover over the Explore with AI button on the visualization on the dashboard and select one of the follow-up questions, that question is processed in the exploration. Exit the edit mode to enable the Explore with AI button.
