# Duplicate a visualization on a dashboard

# Duplicate a visualization on an inline dashboard {#ariaid-title1}

Duplicate a visualization so that you can use aspects of the source in a copy of the visualization while on the dashboard it sits on.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: viz_creator

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllPlatform AnalyticsLibraryDashboards
2. Select the dashboard with the visualization that you want to duplicate.
3. Select Edit.
4. From the Actions menu (![]()) on the visualization, select Duplicate.  
   A copy of the visualization is added to dashboard.
5. Select the copy of the visualization to open its Configuration panel.
6. Give the copy of the visualization a unique chart title to distinguish it from the original on the dashboard.
7. Select Save to save the changes to the dashboard.
8. **Wahlweise:** From the Actions menu (![]()) on the visualization, select Add to Library to make the copy available to other users.  
   When you add the visualization to the library, you must give it a name and, optionally, a description. Other users see the name and description in the list of visualizations in the library.

## Ergebnisse

The visualization is copied with the new information.  
Wichtig:  
The new copy of the visualization is automatically saved.
