# Task Mining Workspace

# Task Mining Workspace {#ariaid-title1}

Explore the Task Mining interface to understand how to identify inefficiencies and make data-driven decisions by collecting and analyzing workstation activities.

## Access Task Mining Workspace {#task-mining-workspace__section_ks4_m2j_mfc}

Open the workspace by navigating to Workspaces\>Task Mining Workspace.

## Projects page {#task-mining-workspace__section_ls4_m2j_mfc}

You access the Projects page by selecting the Projects icon (![Task Mining Projects icon]()).

Create projects to define the activities you want to analyze, the workstation users you want to track, and the period over which to collect data. The Projects overview page is your home page, which presents
details of the dates and statuses of your projects.

Selecting a project opens the Project details page on which you can see project details and manage project settings. ## Data page {#task-mining-workspace__section_ms4_m2j_mfc}

You access the Data page by selecting the Data icon (![Task Mining Data icon]()).

Access data requests to confirm approvals are completed, manage categorization groups to organize activities, and review workstation user information from the Data page. For more information about managing

## Application categorization page {#task-mining-workspace__section_ns4_m2j_mfc}

You access the Application categorization page by selecting the Application categorization icon (![Task Mining Application categorization icon]()).

Create rules from the Application categorization page to organize your data by grouping similar workstation activities with user-friendly names. ## Configuration page {#task-mining-workspace__section_os4_m2j_mfc}

You access the Configuration page by selecting the Configuration icon(![Task Mining Configuration icon]()).

Configure system setting and create event filters on the Configuration page. The list is divided into event filters and configuration records. From the Event Filters list, you can prevent the Task Mining agent from collecting application details by replacing application details that match event filters. From the Configuration list, you can modify system-level Task Mining agent records, anonymize personally identifiable information, adjust notifications to workstation users, and modify retention rules.
