Work on self-served contract requests as a contract fulfiller

    A self-served contract request can be worked on by a contract user. However a contract fulfiller can get assigned to the request by an assignment rule or by a group manager. A contract fulfiller can work on the contract request but can also initiate ad-hoc approvals and create revisions manually, whereas a contract user can't initiate ad-hoc approvals or create revisions manually.

    You cannot add the same user to the Assigned to and Collaborator fields.

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to your workspace.
    2. Open the contract request that is assigned to you or if you're a collaborator on the contract request.
    3. Work on the contract request.
      ActionSteps
      Specify the contract as perpetual Select the Perpetual check box in the Details tab to classify the contract as perpetual.
      Hinweis:
      The End date must be blank when this check box is selected.

      The Perpetual check box is available in contract requests that are initiated from the Sales and Order Management and Source-to-Pay Operations.

      Regenerate contract document Create a version of the contract document. Using this option discards the changes made in the previous version of the document. For more information, see Regenerate contract document after modifying request.
      Sync the document
      Hinweis:
      This option is available on Contract Management Pro starting with version 1.2.1
      Create a version of the contract document while retaining the changes made in the previous version. For more information, see Create an updated contract document revision after modifying a self-served contract request (starting Contract Management Pro 1.2.1).
      Create document revisions Create a document revision. For more information, see Create a document revision.
      Add signatories Add signatories. For more information, see Add signatories in self-served contract request.
      Sync signatories
      Hinweis:
      This option isn’t available on Contract Management Pro starting with version 1.2.1 because it is no longer necessary.
      Update the contract document with the latest signatory details. For more information, see Updating and synchronizing signatories.
      Initiate ad hoc approvals Initiate ad hoc approvals. For more information, see Initiate an ad hoc approval for a contract document revision.
      Communicate with stakeholders using Email Communicate with stakeholders via email. For more information, see Send email to stakeholders
      Analyze contract documents using Now Assist to identify non-standard and missing clauses Use Now Assist to analyze the contract documents to identify the non-standard and missing clauses. For more information, see Contract analysis using Now Assist in Contract Management.
      Send the document for signature Send the document for a signature. For more information, see Signature workflow for a contract request.
      Cancel request Cancel a request:
      • On the contract request page, from the Actions menu, select Cancel Request.
      • Confirm the cancellation by selecting Cancel Request.
