Generate a summary report

  • Create and save as many templates as needed by using the ServiceNow Document Templates application. Create a summary report by selecting a document template for the report. Export the case details, in a PDF format, for documenting and sharing purposes.

    Role required: sn_hr_core.case_writer

    Ensure the following plugins are installed:
    • Document Templates [sn_doc]
    • Employee Relations [com.sn_hr_employee_relations]

    You must be assigned to the case.

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to All > HR Case Management > Agent Workspace for Case Management.
    2. Create an HR case within the Employee Relations COE by selecting the Add icon (plus sign).
      An employee relations case is created.
    3. Select Summary Report.

    4. In the Summary Report window, select a predefined document template format in which the case details are captured.
      For details on how to create and use document templates, see Document Templates.
    5. Select Generate.
      Summary report is generated with case details, including work notes, and added as an attachment to the case.
