Edit a reservation using the event planner

  • As a reservation planner, edit a reservation directly using the event planner.

    Vorbereitungen

    You can also manage a reservation using the schedule view. Using the schedule view, you can edit the start and end time, or to move the reservation to another location. For more information, refer to Working with schedule view.

    Ensure that you have installed the Calendar component (sn_calendar) of version 23.2.0 or later.

    Wichtig:
    Using the schedule view, you cannot edit a multi-child or a group-child reservation that is created using a calendar provider. Reservations created using a calendar provider can only be managed using the calendar provider.

    Warum und wann dieser Vorgang ausgeführt wird

    As a reservation planner, you can perform the following actions:
    • Drag a reservation to another date and time to reschedule.
    • Change the reservation timings,
    • Change the location of the reservation.
    • Cancel a reservation
    • Open a reservation and make advanced changes and also add services.
    To manage a multi-location or a group reservation, you must open the reservation details and make changes.

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to All > Workplace Central > Workplace Central.
      You can also open Workplace Central from the Employee Center directly. Navigate to Workspaces > Workplace Central.
      The Workplace Analytics dashboard opens.
    2. On the left pane, select the Event planner icon (Event planner icon.).
      The Event Planner dashboard opens.
    3. To view the current days reservation statues, do the following:
      1. Go to the Reservations metrics section.
      2. Select one of the following tiles to view as a list:
        • Planned reservations for today
        • Reservations with extra services for today
        • Canceled reservations of today
        • Pending approval reservations
    4. To view the active reservations, do one of the following:
      • To view all the reservations, go to the All Reservations section.
      • To view the reservation created by you or for you, go to the My reservations section.
      To view more reservations, select View all.
    5. Select the reservation that you want to edit.
      The reservation opens in a new tab. The details of the reservation are displayed in the Details tab.
    6. In the Details tab, edit one of the following fields depending on the changes:
      • Number of attendees
      • Reservation purpose
      • Cost center
    7. To edit the workplace case created for the extra services, select the Cases tab.
    8. After making the changes, select Save.

    The changes are saved. To change the reservation timings or change the location, refer to Working with schedule view.
