Exploring Workplace Space Mapping
Workplace Space Mapping provides interactive locations and wayfinding solutions in your workplace with Indoor Mapping and Mappedin. Indoor Mapping provides inbuilt indoor maps for Workplace Space Mapping. Mappedin is a third-party map provider.

- Rome and later: Install the Workplace Service Delivery integration with Workplace Indoor Mapping and Mappedin (sn_wsd_mappedin) plugins from store.
- New York:

- ServiceNow® Integration Hub Runtime (com.glide.hub.integration.runtime)
- ServiceNow®
Integration Hub Action Step - REST (com.glide.hub.action_step.rest)Hinweis:Customer Service must activate these plugins.
- After these plugins are activated, you can activate Workplace Space Mapping (sn_wsd_space_map).
Synchronize Workplace Indoor Mapping with Workplace Service Delivery
- Indoor Mapping is the inbuilt map provider with Workplace Service Delivery suite for wayfinding within workplaces.Hinweis:Install both Indoor Mapping and the dependent plugin Workplace Indoor Mapping.
- To synchronize Indoor Mapping map data and map objects (campus, buildings, floors, place, and place types) that you created in Indoor Mapping Map Studio with Workplace Service Delivery, see Synchronize Indoor Mapping with Workplace Service Delivery.
Import Mappedin Map data and objects
- Set up your Mappedin credentials. Workplace Service Delivery uses these credentials to import space data (buildings, floors, and spaces).

Type mappings
When you integrate with a third-party map application, associate the third-party map types to the map types used by Workplace Service Delivery. Associating the third party's map types ensures that your spaces are imported to the correct table with the correct type (workplace and desk). The base system provides entries that can be used.
Import flow
- The Auto-Import Buildings iHub flow queries all buildings associated with Mappedin maps.
- Uses the Mappedin export API to look for any changes to a building made by Mappedin maps. If there are changes, update the building.
Using External IDs
Use external IDs to resolve spaces that do not match the locations in Workplace Service Delivery from Indoor Mapping or Mappedin maps after importing or synchronizing a building.
