WSD for Microsoft places- Key features
The WSD for Microsoft places is designed for a workplace user to create and manage workplace services requests. As an agent, you can create, and view service requests, and monitor its progress.
When you log in to the WSD for Microsoft places application as an agent, the application displays all the Workplace services requests under Workplace service topics. You can get details such as the number of open requests. You can also add service requests as favorites to view under My Favorites.
The launch screen of the WSD for Microsoft places application displays Workplace services topics, Support resources,Open requests, and My Favorites.
The workplace service requests under Support resources appear in a Card view by default. The view can be changed to List view. These requests can be sort by popular and alphabetical, and filter by articles and requests.WSD for Microsoft places- Workplace service topics
The Workplace service topics is the default page that is displayed when you launch the application. Workplace service topics categorizes all types of workplace service requests.
- Equipment: The launch screen displays the Equipment tab by default. The Equipment tab displays categorized workplace services requests Equipment and Requested furniture.
- Reservation services: The launch screen displays the Reservation services tab by default. The Reservation services tab displays categorized workplace services requests Catering and Tech support.
- Site services: The launch screen displays the Site services tab by default. The Site services tab displays categorized workplace services requests Heating & Cooling, Badge request, and Cleaning.
WSD for Microsoft places- Support resources
The Workplace service topics is the default page that is displayed when you launch the application. Workplace service topics is the main page of the application and it categorizes all
types of workplace service requests under Support resource
- Catering: The launch screen displays the Catering request by default. You can Submit a catering request for your meetings and events.
- Heating & Cooling: The launch screen displays the Heating & Cooling request by default. You can submit a request to report temperature issues (too hot or too cold).
- Requested furniture: The launch screen displays the Requested furniture request by default. You can submit a request for furniture or equipment for workplace spaces.
- Badge request: The launch screen displays the Badge request by default. You can submit a request for a new hire badge, badge photo, lost badge, replacement badge, or access issue.
- Tech support: The launch screen displays the Tech support by default. You can submit a request for tech assistance for projectors, video conferencing, and so on, for your meetings.
- Cleaning: The launch screen displays the Cleaning request by default. You can submit a request for reporting a spill and sanitation issue.
- Equipment: The launch screen displays the Equipment request by default. You can submit a request for additional chairs, tables, or whiteboards for your workplace spaces.
WSD for Microsoft places- Open requests and My favorites
Open requests is the default widget that is displayed when you launch the application. You can view all the open requests.
My Favorites is the default widget that is displayed when you launch the application. You can add any service requests to the favorites and then those requests appear under the My Favorites tab.
