Overview of Health and Safety Contractor Management workflow

Health and Safety Workspace ​

In the workspace, the safety contractor coordinator performs the following tasks:

1. Add a contractor company from Health and Safety Workspace

   Keep track of all contractor companies' details including their name, address, their primary contact, and overall rating. Additionally, list all the contractor workers including their areas of expertise and contact details.

   Employees or Line managers can also register contractor companies from the Employee Center to initiate their health and safety pre-qualification process. For more information, see Register a contractor company through Employee Center.

2. Assign a task to a contractor worker

   Assign tasks to the contractor workers to confirm that they’re up to date on prerequisite training and document uploads before they come on site.

3. Add a document to a contractor worker

   Upload any documents collected from contractor workers or related to contractor worker in the workspace.

4. Grant site access to a contractor worker

   Once completed tasks are received by the contractor coordinator, workers can be granted access to the customer's locations.

Contractor tasks via email​

Contractor workers complete assigned tasks as received in the email notification.

1. Contract worker receives an email for assigned tasks. They can respond to the actions directly from the buttons in the email.​
   • Upload documents​
   • View prerequisite training material​
   • Mark tasks as complete​
2. When prerequisite tasks have been completed, the contractor coordinator grants them access to the site. Contract worker receives another email with an access code that can be used to access the company locations.​
