Manage workplace profiles using Space Planning

  • Manage the workplace user profiles, their details, and their assignments using the Space Planning module.

    Role required: sn_wsd_core.workplace_manager

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to All > Workplace Central.
    2. Select the Space Planning module.
      The floor plan tab opens by default.
    3. Select the Workplace users tab.
      The list of user profiles opens with details like their name, primary location, and allocation.
    4. Manage the users based on your requirement.

      Create a workplace profile
      1. On the Workplace users list, select New.
      2. On the User Workplace Profile form, fill in the fields.

        For a description of the field values, see User Workplace Profile form.

      3. Select Save.
      Edit user assignments
      1. Select the users who you want to edit the assignments for.
      2. Select Assign.

        The Assign users pop-up opens.

      3. Select either of the following assignment type for the users.
        • Location: Creates a location assignment on the workplace profiles.
        • Neighborhood: Creates a neighborhood assignment on the workplace profiles.
      4. Enter the details of the location that the users must be assigned to. You must enter at least the campus and building to assign the user.

        For the Neighborhood assignment, you must select the neighborhood you want to assign the users to.

      Remove user assignments
      1. Select the users who you want to edit.
      2. Select the context menu next to Assign, then select Unassign.
      3. Select the following options based on your requirement.
        • From their primary location: Removes the primary location assignment from the selected users.
        • From all location assignments: Removes all location assignments from the selected users.
        • From all neighborhood assignments: Removes all neighborhood assignments from the selected users.
      4. Select Confirm.
      Edit user details
      1. On the Workplace users list, select the users who you want to edit.
      2. Select Edit.
      3. Edit the details based on your requirement.
        Wichtig:
        The value that you enter in any field is applied to all the selected users. For example, if you change the Workplace entity, all the users are allocated to the selected entity.
      4. Select Update.
      Export user profile details
      1. On the Workplace users list, select the users who you want to export.

        If you don't select any users, the system exports the details of all the workplace profiles in your instance.

      2. Select Export.
      3. On the Export pop-up, select a File Type based on your preference.
        • Excel
        • CSV
        • JSON
        • PDF
      4. Select the Delivery Type based on your preference.
        • Download: Downloads the file to your local system.
        • Email: Sends the file as an attachment to the specified email address.

          If you select email, you must enter the email address of the recipient.

      5. Select Export.
