Enhanced chat in Employee Center

    You can see a new theme that is visually-engaging, effective, and user-friendly with the following enhancements:
    • Enhanced home page theme: Unifies various types of content, such as requests, articles, and quick links, to create an improved browsing experience. The theme aligns with the latest sets components, a new color scheme, a logo update, and CSS variable adjustments for an improved browsing experience.
    • Enhanced header: Helps you navigate to your tasks, requests, favorites, and search effectively.
    • Enhanced chat: Offers a conversational search experience in a dynamic dialogue to gather information, provide help, or guide through a process using the search.

    This theme provides a more functional and clean design that is visually appealing to users. This theme aligns with the new sets components, a new color scheme, logo update, and CSS variable adjustments.

    Enhanced header helps you navigate to my tasks, requests, favorites, and search quickly.

    Enhanced chat

    To get started with the Now Assist in Virtual Agent enhanced chat:

    • Install the Now Assist in Virtual Agent application from the store.
    • Ensure that the enhanced chat is configured for the Employee Center portal by virtual_agent_admin.
    • Select Employee Center from the Portals tab and select the enhanced chat.

    Wichtig:
    Pinning chat windows can create responsiveness issues on the following screen resolutions and pixel range.
    • For homepage, my tasks page, my favorites page, and my applications page: Range between 600px and 800px.
    • For topic page: Below 1413px.
    Ensure you avoid pinning the chat window and resizing on these screen resolutions.

    Wichtig:
    By default, pinning a chat window is enabled for Service Portal. For all other portals, an admin needs to create a system property to enable pinning a chat window. For more information, see Now Assist in Virtual Agent system properties.
