Work on a contract change request

  • As a contract fulfiller, review the change request, update the contract document and send it back to the contract user.

    Vorbereitungen

    Role required: sn_cm_core.contract _fulfiller and sn_lg_cnt.contract_fulfiller

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to All > Legal Request > Legal Counsel Center.
    2. Select the List icon (List icon).
    3. Select Legal Requests.
    4. Go to the contract request listing.
      • For assigned contract request - Select Assigned to me.
      • For unassigned contract request - Select Unassigned.
    5. Select the legal request for which the change request has been submitted.
      • When you have opened a request from the unassigned list, assign it to yourself or the group manager has to assign it to a user.
      • When the legal request is assigned, select Start work.
      • You can get the details of the change request from the Activity stream or the notification email received.
    6. Select Contracts request tab and open the request.

    7. Select the Contract documents tab.
    8. Access and edit the contract document.

      Download contract document from the internal storage
      1. Select Preview document.
      2. In the drop-down list, select the contract type.
      3. Select Preview.
      4. Select the Download icon (Download icon).
      5. Edit the downloaded document.
      Download contract document from the external storage
      1. Select the URL.

        The document opens from the external storage.

      Edit the contract document directly from the external storage
      1. Select the URL.

        The document opens from the external storage.

      2. Edit the document directly from the external storage.

        The document is automatically saved in the external storage.

    9. If you have downloaded the document from the storage, upload the updated contract document by creating a revision.
      1. Select Create revision.
      2. In the Create revision from drop-down list, select a storage type and upload the new document.
        • In the workspace: Select Attach File and upload the document.
        • Activity stream: In the Document field, select the document that is displayed based on attachments in the activity stream.

          The documents attached while requesting changes for a contract and the documents received through inbound emails are available in the Activity stream.

        • External Storage- In the Document field, select the document. This option is displayed only if external storage is configured.
    10. Wahlweise: Get approval of the updated document from stakeholders.
    11. Return the contract document to the change requester.
      1. Select Send document.
      2. Select Send document on the confirmation screen.

    Ergebnisse

    The document is sent back to the user and the Contract status updates to Document ready to indicate that the contract document has been updated according to the change request.
