Submit a legal request for yourself or on behalf of another user to seek services from the legal department.

You can also submit a legal request through your mobile device or the Virtual Agent chat.

- To submit a legal request through Virtual Agent chat, you must have the Legal Virtual Agent Conversations application installed on your instance. For more information, see Legal Virtual Agent Conversations.

A legal request is created in the New state.
- The request is assigned to a group or user in the legal department based on the assignment rule set in the associated practice area.
- The Standard Ticket page displays that has the
following tabs to perform different tasks:
- Activity: Track the activity history of the request and post messages for the fulfiller working on the request.
- Attachments: Upload and manage documents.
- Attachments or Documents: Upload and manage the documents in the legal request.Hinweis:If the external storage option is enabled, the Documents tab is displayed. Otherwise, the Attachments tab is displayed.
- Request Details: Review request details.
- If the administrator has configured notifications, you receive notifications about the progress of the request.
