  • The Tasks page within the Compliance Workspace provides a centralized, task-centric interface for managing all activities related to regulatory events, source documents, and compliance workflows. It helps you stay organized, ensures timely and accountable action, and promotes overall regulatory readiness.

Each task relates to a step in the regulatory response process, such as impact assessment, policy review, control updates, or evidence collection. Tasks can be created both manually and automatically. Automatic task creation depends on workflow settings linked to regulatory alerts or change requests.

This interface supports individual and team-level accountability, promotes timely completion of tasks, and enables compliance with internal and external regulatory obligations. You can filter, sort, and act on tasks directly within this interface, making it an essential tool for compliance officers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

The key features of the Tasks page are as follows:

    • Segment task responsibilities across individual and group levels.
    • Filter tasks and view personal contributions or monitored items.
    • Manage compliance through a task-centric interface.
    • Integrate seamlessly with alerts, change requests, and compliance activities.

The page includes four distinct tabs, each serving a specific purpose to enhance task visibility and management.

    My pending tasks

Shows all active or outstanding tasks assigned directly to the logged-in user. This view reinforces individual accountability by clearly identifying required actions.

    The pending tasks view:

    • Originates from regulatory alerts, change requests, or compliance workflows.
    • Provides access to task details, due dates, and related items.
    • Enables you to update status, add comments, or complete tasks directly.

    My group’s tasks

Shows tasks assigned to groups or teams that the user belongs to, even if the user isn't the direct assignee. This data is useful for teams with shared responsibilities or collaborative workflows.

    The group's tasks view:
    • Promotes visibility across shared or collective responsibilities.
    • Supports collaboration and effective task delegation among team members.
    • Assists managers and leads to monitor and coordinate group tasks.

    My items

Lists all tasks or items created, requested, or owned by me, even if not directly assigned. It ensures ownership continuity throughout the compliance life-cycle.

    The item view:
    • Includes regulatory change requests, impact assessments, and policy reviews initiated by me.
    • Provides full visibility into the user’s regulatory contributions.
    • Monitors progress and outcomes for user-initiated items.

    Watchlist

Shows tasks that the user has manually chosen to monitor. It's ideal for users involved in passive oversight of key compliance activities.

    The watchlist view:
    • Allows tracking of high-priority or cross-functional tasks without direct ownership.
    • Supports monitoring of relevant tasks across multiple workstreams.
    • Keeps supervisors, coordinators, and compliance officers informed of relevant updates.

The Tasks page helps you manage duties efficiently, ensuring proactive compliance with regulations within set timelines.
