# Respond to attestations on the Risk Portal

Respond to your attestations by logging in to the Risk Portal.

Role required: sn_grc.business_user, sn_grc.business_user_lite

## Warum und wann dieser Vorgang ausgeführt wird

As an attestation respondent of a control you can log in to the Risk Portal and respond to the attestations.

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllPolicy and ComplianceRisk Portal.
2. Select the new task in My pending tasks section of the Risk Portal.  
   You can view the Attestations on the left panel.
3. Select the assessment instance link on the right panel of the My pending tasks related list.
4. Enter your response to the questions in the category.
5. To attach an evidence, select the Add File link, select the document in the folder, and click Open.
6. Select the Upload button.
7. Select the Next button.
8. Select the Provide acknowledgement option in the Submit page.
9. Select the Submit assessment button.
10. Select Close in the Submission Successful pop-up.  
    All the questions are read only now that you have submitted the response.
