Manage or add a service to your SRM team
Add a service to an incident to increase the amount of data for the incident.
Before you begin
Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator
Procedure

Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
You are taken to your SRM homepage.Note:If you have other SOW applications, and depending on your assigned roles, that homepage may not be the SRM homepage. It is the SOW homepage instead, with SRM alerts and incidents included in your metrics. In that case, to view SRM specific areas, select SRM modules from the left navigation pane.

Select Teams
from the left navigation pane.
- On the Teams Overview tab, open any team you want to view or add a service to.

From the team page, select the Services managed tab.
You can export the list of services. See Export list information to a file for more information.
- Optional: Select Add to add a service to your team.

In the Tell us about your service window, fill in the field as appropriate.

- I want to monitor reliability of an existing service
I am adding a new Service Service type Select a type from the list menu: - Application service: A service that is made up of one or more CIs that performs a subset of the tasks that, together, perform a business-level function. For example, a cost calculation app or database servers.
- Technical service: A service that is made up of products such as Service Mapping and Discovery. They represent the technology that your business sells or consumes.
Service name Unique and meaningful name for the service. Business criticality How important it is to the business. Choices are:- 1 - most critical (default)
- 2 - somewhat critical
- 3 - less critical
- 4 - not critical
Operational status Status of the service. Choices are:- Operational
- Non-operational
- Repair in Progress
- DR Standby
- Ready
- Retired
- Pipeline
- Catalog
Service Description Description of the overall service that will help others to understand the purpose of the service and other relevant information. I want to monitor reliability of an exiting service Select a service Select a service from the list menu. (The only application services shown are either Application or Technical, and Operational, and without an owner or those owned by you. ) For Use shift template, fill in the fields, as appropriate.Table 2. - Off hours (workday 8:00 - 5:00)
