Install Tag Governance

    • You can install the Tag Governance application if you have the admin role.

    Before you begin

    • Ensure that you use the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns for tag-based discovery.
    • Activate the following ServiceNow plugin in your instance:

      Tag Governance (sn_itom_tag)

    • ServiceNow Cloud Access Interface app for cloud remediation.

    Role required: sn_itom_tag.tag_governance_admin, admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > System Applications > ServiceNow Store.
    2. Use the Search bar to find the Tag Governance application and select Install.

    What to do next

    • Configure Tag Data Governance policies to run on discovered resources.
    • View the tag quality index on the Tag Data Governance dashboard.
    • Select and run a remediation policy from a Tag Remediation record.
