Acknowledge an SRM alert

  • Place an alert in the Acknowledged state If the alert has issues that need to be addressed. You can acknowledge an alert without assigning it to yourself.

    Before you begin

    Role required: Responder, Manager, or Administrator

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
      You are taken to your SRM homepage.
      Note:
      If you have other SOW applications, and depending on your assigned roles, that homepage may not be the SRM homepage. It is the SOW homepage instead, with SRM alerts and incidents included in your metrics. In that case, to view SRM specific areas, select SRM modules from the left navigation pane.
    2. Select Reliability Tasks Reliability tasks icon. from the left navigation pane.
    3. Check the box next to the single file, or bulk select files to acknowledge.
    4. Click Acknowledge.
      In either case, yoar assigned to that alert or alerts chosen. Form more information no the alert form and actions, see View an SRM alert or SRM alert states.
      Note:
      You can acknowledge an alert from the Alert form itself by selecting the Acknowledged check box, however, the alert is not automatically assigned to you. You must select an assignee from the menu and click Save. See SRM alert workspace.
