Start an on-demand accelerator

    Role required: impact app admin, impact platform owner, or impact portfolio owner

    About this task

    The self-serve flow for on-demand accelerators is structured across different types of activities grouped as questionnaire, transformation, and action plan. Each group has multiple steps with a set of instructions and related forms that you must complete in sequence. At the end of the self-serve flow, download the 90-day action plan for the selected accelerator.

    Procedure

    1. View the on-demand accelerators in Impact > Accelerators and Initiatives > Catalog by selecting Show on-demand accelerators only in the All Accelerators and Initiatives section.
      The catalog page displays flash cards of the accelerators that also have the on-demand option in the Accelerators and Initiatives section. View flash cards for only the on-demand accelerators in the Accelerators and Initiatives section.
    2. In the accelerator flash card, select On-demand > Start Accelerator.
    3. In the Request form section of the Start Accelerator page, fill in the fields.

      Preferred Start Date Preferred start date for the accelerator
      Assign to Business Objective Business goal expected for this accelerator
      Owner Name of the owner for the accelerator request
      Watchlist Names of the team members who must know the progress of the Accelerator request
      Reason for starting Reason for starting the accelerator
      Attachments Relevant files for reference
    4. Select Complete Setup to initiate the self-serve process.
      Begin the accelerator workflow.
    5. Proceed with the workflow by selecting Continue on every page.
    6. Save the inputs for every task by selecting Save or continue with the workflow by selecting Save & Continue.
      Use Save to come back later to complete the remaining tasks in the workflow.
    7. Complete the tasks in the remaining workflow by following on-screen instructions.
      You can download the action plan after you complete all the tasks in the accelerator setup workflow.
