Prerequisites
- Identification of key stakeholders knowledgeable in AI governance
- Solid understanding of foundational AI governance concepts and terminology
Customer Engagement and Deliverables
- Internal Kickoff Session: Up to 30 minutes to align on roles, responsibilities, and engagement flow
- Introductory Coaching Session: Up to 1 hour for vocabulary review, AIMS purpose overview, foundational principles, and documentation orientation
- Customer Coaching Sessions: Up to 10 hours of support for addressing questions, modifying documents, and providing governance guidance
- Wrap-up Session: Up to 30 minutes to review actions, provide further resources, and preview the next accelerator phase (Audit AI Governance)
Customer Roles and Responsibilities
Successful adoption requires collaboration from multiple stakeholders:
- AI Center of Excellence (COE) / Stewards: Lead AI governance insights and integrate learnings into existing processes (required)
- Platform Owners: Provide AI practice insights, ensure stakeholder involvement (required)
- Internal Stakeholders: Share detailed pain points, principles, and assist use case selection (recommended)
- Partner Stakeholders: Support with detailed insights and use case identification (recommended)
Information and Access Customers Should Provide
- Organization & Scope: Business context, AI objectives, geographic and regulatory environments, existing certifications, and desired AIMS scope
- Governance & People: Names and roles of executive sponsors, risk/compliance, legal, data science, IT ops, and existing governance structures
- Stakeholders & Expectations: Internal and external stakeholders with their concerns and any public trust or safety commitments
- Risk & Compliance Posture: Applicable laws and regulations, gap analyses, previous AI incidents, risk frameworks in use

This offering focuses on helping customers make AI governance practices operational, in alignment with ISO/IEC 42001, removing common barriers to compliance through expert guidance. By the end of the engagement, customers have a customized, actionable governance framework to help them successfully adopt AI governance.
