Actions of a strategic plan and its strategic priorities that help to orient your organizational strategic plan toward your goal. Strategic priorities are the objectives of your organizational plans. Strategic priorities help you to achieve your goals over a designated time period. The strategic priorities are also known as focus areas or long-term strategies.

Goals

Goals refer to objectives that an organization sets for itself to accomplish their organizational plans. Goals are typically qualitative in nature. Goals should be ambitious and are expected to motivate and challenge your teams.

Monitoring AI-related items

With Strategic Planning, you can track and monitor the progress of your strategic priorities, goals, planning items, and execution items—projects and demands classified as Artificial Intelligence in the Strategic Planning Workspace. For details, see Managing goals in Strategic Planning Workspace.

With Goal Framework, you can track and monitor the progress of your strategic priorities and goals classified as Artificial Intelligence in the Goal Framework application. For details, see Managing goals using Goal Framework or Goal Framework for SPM.

With PPM Standard, you can track and monitor the risks, issues, decisions, actions, and changes of your projects classified as Artificial Intelligence in Project Management or Project Workspace, or the primary goal or strategic priority associated with projects and categorized as Artificial Intelligence in Goal Framework or Strategic Planning Workspace.
