Creating an API key in n8n environment using your n8n instance.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin (authenticated user with the appropriate administrative permissions in the n8n instance)

## Procedure

1. Log in to your n8n instance.
2. Navigate to Settingsn8n API.
3. Select Create an API Key.
4. Choose a label and set an Expiration time for the key.
5. Copy the APl Key and use this key to authenticate your calls.

## Result

An API Key is created in the n8n environment.
