Modify an app's settings in ServiceNow Studio

    • Adjust an app's settings in ServiceNow Studio using the full platform app record in app settings. Change the name, description, or other metadata associated with the app, and view all related links associated to the application.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin or delegated_developer

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
    2. In the Navigator panel, select the apps icon (Apps icon).
    3. Select the app that you want to open.
    4. Select App details to open the app in the canvas.
    5. In the top-right corner, select the app settings icon (App settings icon).
      The app settings page opens in a new integrated tab. You can view information related to application scoping, design and runtime, subscription management, primary menu, and end user access. The Related Links section enables you to publish your app, manage collaborators, and more.
    6. Edit the settings for your app.
    7. Select Update.
    8. Return to the App details integrated tab for the application.
    9. Select the reload app details icon (Reload app details icon) to incorporate the changes you made on the App settings tab.
