Use Now Assist in UI Builder to simplify the configuration of event handlers. At present, you can configure the following event handlers using Now Assist in UI Builder: Open page or URL, open or close modals, and viewport
load requested.
Procedure
-
Navigate to .
-
Open an experience to work in or create an experience by selecting .
-
Open or create a page.
-
Add a component to your page, such as a button.
-
To add an event handler to your component's event, go to the configuration panel and select Events.
An event handler lets you assign an event to a component. For example, if you add a button component to your page, you want it to perform an action when a user selects it.
-
In the event handler, select Open page or URL and select Continue.
The Open page or URL event handler was previously called Link to destination.
-
In the Configure section, select Get Started.
-
In the Generate configuration with Now Assist field, enter a prompt for the action you want to perform (for example, open a specific website) or select an option from the available prompts.
-
Select the right arrow icon.
The prompt is sent to the LLM, which processes the request and provides a response that configures the event handler.
-
Either reject the configurations, or accept and edit the configurations.
-
After you review the changes, select Add.
-
Test the event by selecting Preview in the header and trigger the action.
