Basic Workflow
- Choosing a table or form: Launch Table Builder and select the table or form you want to work with. In App Engine Studio, the selection reflects the app context, while in UI Builder, you can switch tables via a drop-down.
- Selecting domain and application scope: Choose the domain and scope to work within, ensuring your customizations apply to the correct context. App Engine Studio locks this to your app, whereas UI Builder provides flexibility.
- Modifying table properties: Use the Data tab to edit fundamental table attributes.
- Customizing form views: Use the Forms tab to create, edit, and configure form layouts and elements.
- Configuring policies and rules: Use the Policies and Rules tab to control data display and behavior in form views.
- Previewing and saving changes: Preview your form changes anytime to see how they appear in the ServiceNow AI Platform, and save updates when ready. Undo and redo options help manage edits efficiently.
Navigational Elements
- Table selection list: Quickly switch between tables for customization.
- Select domain and scope lists: Filter your work context by domain (e.g., Global) and application scope.
