Pipelines enable you to automate the propagation and installation of your applications from one instance to another. As an admin, you can manage app deployment requests coming from ServiceNow Studio in the App Engine Management Center (AEMC).

Pipelines are powered by the ServiceNow
CICD spoke, which enables you to automate processes such as publishing applications to the Application Repository, installing them on target instances, running ATF tests, and running instance scans.

If you're an admin, you might work with pipelines to move changes to your apps through your instances. If you have the App Engine Management Center (AEMC) installed, you can manage deployment requests that are created when a developer selects Deploy in ServiceNow Studio. Note:  
If your app was created in ServiceNow IDE and converted to Fluent, you must switch from ServiceNow Studio back into the ServiceNow IDE for the publishing and deployment process.
