Add a Global MCP client

    • Add a Global Model Context Protocol (MCP) client from the AI Gateway configuration page.

    Before you begin

    Role required: AI steward

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Al Control Tower > Configurations > AI Gateway > Global MCP clients.
    2. Select Add.
    3. Enter the Client ID.
    4. Select Next.
    5. Select the Metadata sync mode.

      Selecting the Live mode is preferred.

    6. Change the Security controls according to the requirements of the agent builder.
    7. Select Submit.
      A Global MCP client is created.

    Result

    The MCP client is created and appears in the Global MCP client tab.
