  • This task describes how to manage model operations and add entities in ServiceNow using the Zero Copy Connector for ERP.

    Use this procedure to configure model operations and entities within the ServiceNow Zero Copy Connector for ERP interface.

    Procedimento

    1. Access the ServiceNow Interface
      1. Type your query in the search bar on the Google home page.
      2. Navigate to the ServiceNow interface and click Favorites in the navigation bar.
      3. Select Zero Copy Connector for ERP from the drop-down menu.
      4. View the dashboard for Zero Copy Connector for ERP.
        Nota:
        The dashboard may initially display no data found.
    2. Manage Models
      1. In the Models list, hover over SUSE Test Mapping to view more details.
      2. Click Manage Model in the navigation bar.
      3. In the Model Manager, click Add Model Operation.
      4. In the modal dialog, select Create from the Operation Type drop-down.
      5. Select Connection_Admin from the User Roles drop-down.
      6. Click the Save button to confirm.
        A success message appears.
    3. Add Entities
      1. On the Manage Operation Entities page, click Select Entity.
      2. In the Add Entity modal, choose Function Call Boppies from the Entity Type drop-down.
      3. Enter Boppy in the Entity Search field to filter options.
      4. Select Boppy_BankDetailCreateSuccessor from the list of entities.
      5. Click the drop-down arrow next to Function Call Babies to view more options.
      6. Select Function Call RFCs from the drop-down menu under Entity Type.
      7. Enter the entity name in the Select Entity field.
      8. Type Country in the Select Entity field to search for an entity.
      9. Change the selection to OData from the Entity Type drop-down menu.
      10. Enter Country in the Select Service field under Service.
      11. Type OData in the Select Service field.
      12. Click on the Select Type drop-down under Entity Type and select IDOC.
      13. Type OData in the Message field.
        Nota:
        This may display "No Results Found".
      14. Type C in the Message field to display a list of options.
      15. Click the drop-down under Entity Type to select IDOC.

    Resultado

    You have successfully configured model operations and added entities in ServiceNow.
