Your company's entitlements determine whether you have access to Developer Sandboxes.
Developer Sandboxes entitlements include the following parameters:

* Developer Sandboxes is a standalone product and isn't included with any other product.
* Developer Sandboxes are packaged in increments of ten.
* Developer Sandboxes entitlements are bound to a single instance and cannot be split across multiple instances. You can purchase entitlements for any number of instances that your company owns, but the Developer Sandboxes entitlements are always bound to an instance.
* Entitlements can be stacked, supporting up to 30 sandboxes per instance. For more information on suggested number of entitlements per instance, see [General guidelines and use cases for Developer Sandboxes](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/fuMmCjGADwNZhwPYthSKsg "Follow some general guidelines to ensure you're optimizing your use of sandboxes.").
