After an application is created, admins can use Build Agent to create or update any file within that application.

The process for creating or updating an app file is very similar to creating an application. The main difference here is that Build Agent will prompt you to enter the application name or scope to know which application to update files in.

In a new chat with Build Agent, select Create a file or Update a file to get started.

Continue the conversation just like you did with creating an application, using the change log and checkpoints as you go. For more information, see [Build Agent conversation change log](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/4ghsL~r8zzxK4I7eqs1U5w "After Build Agent completes the changes you request, you can find information about the updates in the change log that automatically appears in a new integrated tab in ServiceNow Studio.") and [Revert app changes with Build Agent in ServiceNow Studio](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/0phFWsA1ThZZwpFuQ_Hp_A "Revert changes to a previous checkpoint using Build Agent.").
